⚡️ Quick summary
I must have tried thousands of vapes over the years
Over the past decade or so, the world has witnessed an explosion in the popularity of hemp and cannabis, and the vaping industry has experienced gigantic growth, with thousands of brands now vying for your attention.
After sampling (literally) thousands of disposable vapes over the years, it’s clear to see that some brands are putting out much more effective and enjoyable products than others. And the best disposable vapes to me offer more than just great effects, as the taste, ingredient quality, safety, and hardware are also paramount to the overall experience.
After all, who wants to puff on something that makes you cough up your lungs or, worse still, leaks when you inhale so you get a mouthful of vape liquid? Yuck!
Anyway, after years of trial and error, I’ve narrowed down my favorite, trusted disposable vape brands and listed them here, to help you narrow down your search.
Top five dopest THC disposables
Depending on what kind of experience and effects you’re after, these are my five go-to brands for disposable THC vape pens in 2024. Whether you’re after the most potent experience, the smoothest hits, or the most authentic flavors, I’ve got something for everyone.
To learn more about the absolute crush of cannabinoids in the cannabis plant (from THCA to Delta 8 THC to THCP), check out some of our educational series on cannabinoids here.
Overall, my number 1 go-to brand for disposable vapes is *drum roll, please* – Binoid CBD. If Binoid was on Wall Street, I’d invest hand over fist!
They have a huge selection of cannabinoids available (from THCA to THCP), as well as several terrific blends, all of which I’ve found to elicit noticeable and pleasurable effects.
I’ve been buying disposable vapes from this brand for a number of years now and, believe it or not, their hardware has NEVER let me down. I had a couple of cart leaks a few years ago but every single disposable I’ve had from Binoid has puffed perfectly from beginning to end. No serious clogging issues and no leaks (and no unexpected mouthfuls of foul-tasting vape liquid!).
On top of this, the expected effects (from each different cannabinoid or blend) have always been on point. Some have even blown me away, especially when you take into account how affordable they are. Unsurprisingly, this isn’t the first time I’ve featured Binoid at number 1 in lists like this and for good reason. They have some of the most potent, best tasting, and most affordable disposable vapes in the market.
My firm favorite, since it was launched a couple of years ago, is their massive 5-gram Exclusive Series THCA blend disposable vape. Even the most experienced users (and weed smokers) I know are impressed with the effects of this vape and the value offered is unbeatable. However, you should be aware that this vape contains a blend of cannabinoids (not just THCA), which is one of the reasons that Binoid is able to offer it at such a damn good price.
If purity is your selling point then Binoid’s still got you covered with their 1-gram THCA Live Rosin disposable vape. Admittedly, this vape is the better of the two but, price-wise, I buy the 5-grammers more often as you get more bang for your buck. Binoid’s Premium THCA vape has one of the highest THCA purities on the market and will get you just as high as any decent dispensary-grade weed vape. The live rosin terpenes also upgrade the experience considerably. In fact, they also took home the 1st place in my list of the best live resin carts of 2024 as well.
If you’re looking for max potency, you should try their Blazed THC-A + Delta 9p 3-gram disposables. With names like Unicorn Haze, Cheetah Piss, and Alaskan Funderthuck – how could you take them seriously? But, let me tell you now, you should! I ripped it like 6 times & laid back. All of a sudden, the chronic pain that lords over my life was a distant memory, not to mention I was high AF.
And although I’ve been banging on about all my favorite THCA disposables here, they have tons more on offer including Delta 8, Delta 10, THC-P, THC-B, amanita mushrooms, you name it, they’ve got it. I also highly recommend anything from their Gold Line and Epic Cloud range. I can’t wait to try their new whopping 7-gram disposables!

My second favorite disposable vapes come from another regular on CBD Incubator – the Mellow Fellow himself (full brand review here)!
Again, great hardware, effects, and flavors, all round.
I’m particularly partial to the Euphoria Blend, 4 mL Live Resin vape. The Green Crack terpenes are true to the flower and is an appropriate name indeed, as I just couldn’t put this thing down. In the Euphoria blend, the Fellowship (as I’ve dubbed them), masterfully mixes HHC, Delta 8, H4CBD, CBD, CBG, and THCp into a blizzard of bliss.
This blend of live resin has a refreshingly fruity flavor. It says mango is the flavor; call me crazy if I got some hints of pineapple & peaches too. It’s fool-proof in that you simply need to start pulling & you’ll be holding cloud clinics before you know it! I also utilized the pre-heat setting regularly so I could break through any resistance in the cold winter months. This preheat feature is awesome in winter (and essential in the northern states)!
This particular vape also comes in a 2mL size, but the green crack is only available in the 4mL. Plus, you get a pretty significant break in price by springing for the larger sizes.
This Euphoria blend left me buzzing about the flat for hours – just how I like it. My favorite bit is how sneaky the feelings are. I almost have an epiphany every time I puff on this. The rest of Mellow Fellow’s blends are on par (Charged, Clarity, Dream, etc), but Euphoria is far and away my favorite. The flavors are strong but not overpowering and they pull through really well, offering large, satisfying clouds of vapor..
- Unique and potent selection of blends
- Easy shopping experience (just look for your desired effects)
- Third party lab tested for quality and safety
- Big bundle savings
- Pre-heat function
- Lab certified
- Slow restocking
- $75 minimum purchase for free shipping
The 4 gram vape is $65, but if you bundle a vape pen and a bag of edibles or get a bunch of pens, then you can save up to 30%.
Eighty-Six Brand offers an incredible range of Delta-8 disposables that come in five flavors and two sizes, either one or two gram sticks. I reviewed a bunch of Eighty-Six brand products more thoroughly here.
After trying all of their five Delta 8 flavors, I can vouch for them all but my favorite is probably Strawberry Cough (very more-ish), but they’re all very flavorful and deliver some of the smoothest puffs of vapor on the market.
None of the Delta 8 vapes have an out-of-body-experience type high for me (Delta 8 doesn’t really do that for me), but I love these vape pens because I don’t always want to get super high and these are ideal for daytime use and the odd occasions when I want a lighter buzz.
Strawberry Cough is traditionally a sativa dominant strain (even more so than Blue Dream), a dragon I’m seemingly perpetually chasing. I find it’s one of the better strains for anxiety, PTSD, and chronic pain – two of which I suffer from in silence. The other three flavors available are Lemon Skunk, FP OG, and Purple Punch.
One of the things I love about the Eighty-Six Brand is that the expected effects of each strain are listed on the side of the box to streamline your shopping experience. And, while they have gimmicky names for each of their blends, they clearly indicate the better-known strain name and even their parentage.
If you want something a little stronger that’ll knock your socks off, then they do also offer killer Delta 9 THC and THC-P vape pens that will do the job nicely. I’ve also (just) noticed that they’ve released some new disposables I haven’t tried yet. Based on my experiences with this brand so far, I can’t wait to give them a go!
- Delicious flavors
- Smooth, satisfying hits
- Affordable prices
- Dependable hardware
- Easy shopping experience
- On-site points/loyalty system
- Only available in smaller (1-2 gram) sizes
- Use artificial flavors
The Delta 8 vapes go for $13.99 (for 1g) and $24.99 (for 2g). But, like the previous two brands on this list, Eighty-Six also has some great bundled discounts available.
Galaxy Treats offers an array of truly fantastic (and award-winning) products and their disposable vape pens are no different. For now, the only disposables they offer are 3g THCA blends (THC-A, THC-P, and HCP), but I really hope this expands in the near future.
The strain that stands out for me is the Pineapple Express. I may be a bit biased as this is also a Sativa dominant strain and, while there isn’t a super strong sweet taste like you’d expect, it definitely had hints of tropical fruit on the exhale. There was even a little lingering aftertaste that lulled me into the sugary scenery that is created by Pineapple Express.
The THCA helped ground my mood while the THC-P sent me soaring into the sky (metaphorically speaking, of course!). Careful about being lulled into a false sense of security. Because this bud can wallop you out of nowhere when you’re taking a few extra rips because “you don’t feel anything yet.” Be patient with this strain and allow time for it to work its magic.
- Reliable effects and hardware
- Third party lab tested for quality and safety
- Very affordable
- Free shipping on $30+ orders
- High Times Hemp Cup Winners (edibles)
- Use promo code “CBDINC20” for 20% off orders
- Limited selection
While they mainly promote gummies on their website, they only have one size of disposable at 3 grams for $35. This is a bit cheaper than most other brands out there at this size.
Pretty much everything this brand produces is 100% awesome but, you should know going in, their prices are higher than the other brands on this list. Secret Nature is my go-to luxury brand and if you have the spare cash and want to treat yourself, they’re worth every penny.
One advantage Secret Nature has over other brands is that they grow everything personally and create their concentrates on site. The plants live their entire lives on the same property. This makes the purity undeniable, but also educates the workforce on how to handle cannabinoids in flower form and learn how to incorporate them into concentrates and edibles.
Just like their grade A flower, their vape pens are next level when it comes to quality and authentic flavors, so you do it for the experience.
Offering CBD, THCV, THCA, and Delta 8 disposables, Secret Nature capitalizes on strain specific extracts, so you can expect authentic cannabinoid and live resin terpene profiles (that remain true to the plant).
The THCV vapes are fantastic if you need a boost of energy and/or a bit of appetite suppression and their THCA vapes offer sublime and unique highs, the next best thing to vaping the flower itself with a dry herb vape.
Secret Nature’s disposables have an autodraw feature and you barely have to pull on the pen to get a colossal cloud. But having no preheat button sometimes sucks in the Winter as you have to warm it up in your hands to get it going. The durability of these vapes is also second to none – one of my Secret Nature vapes actually survived a drop in a lake while I was out kayaking one day!
- Luxury experience
- Authentic live resin flavors
- True-to-plant cannabinoid profiles
- Sleek design
- Reliable and durable hardware
- No additives, just top shelf terpenes
- “Cannabis Mystery Box” on website for $99 (guaranteed $150 value)
- More expensive than other options on this list
- Slightly slower shipping times
$35 – $40 per 1 gram disposable
Best disposable vape – buying guide
So, how did I choose which brands to feature in this list and what should you look for to ensure you end up with the best vaping experience? I’m glad you asked! I judged the products and brands pretty strictly, based on several parameters, including durability, effects, flavor, and price.
How easily does it break? Does it have a pre-heat function? Can I recharge it? Does it clog often? Any splatter in the mouth?
All of the brands featured here are using great quality hardware (with rechargeable batteries) that’s never let me down. Secret Nature’s disposables are the only ones I featured without a preheat function (I live in the north, so a preheat function is pretty essential in winter!).
Do the effects match my expectations? I can’t tell you the amount of vapes I’ve tried that offer little to no effect, despite what potency they say on the box. I don’t expect to be high as a kite from every product I try, but I do expect it to match what it’s being sold or marketed as.
I also consider the variety and quality of terpenes that are being used, as they can affect the overall effects almost as much as the cannabinoids.
Does it taste like it’s advertised? Where does it get its flavor from? Overall, I prefer natural, cannabis-based terpenes for flavor but there’s no denying that artificial flavors pack more of a punch and make a nice change from time to time.
In my opinion, a lot of brands out there are overcharging for their products. The brands I picked to feature here are incredibly affordable, especially considering the quality offered.

How to use a disposable vape
If you are new to vaping here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use a disposable vape pen.
The vast majority of disposable vape pens are built in the same fashion. Luckily, most companies have streamlined the functions, so the below list is a good rule of thumb for most disposable vapes pens you’ll encounter.
- Remove pen from packaging
- Remove any plastic or rubber stoppers on the mouthpiece and bottom of device
- To turn on/off, press the button 5 times quickly
- To change the heat setting, press the button 3 times quickly (I recommend you start on the lowest setting and work your way up if you want bigger hits)
- Press & hold the button while inhaling (no button needed for autodraw)
Advantages of vaping
Here are some of the reasons why people choose to vape their cannabinoids over other methods of consumption:
Smoking flower in your yard, car, or at a concert, is pretty obvious. The smell, the lighter going off, there’s no doubt that it can draw unnecessary attention. Using a disposable vape pen, on the other hand, erases all conspicuousness and allows you to inhale incognito.
Easy to use
As explained above, there really isn’t much to using a vape pen. Everything is ready and raring to go, straight out of the box. Smoking flower or using concentrate requires a handful of tools like a lighter, a pipe, a torch, a dab rig, etc, that you may not always have to hand.
The best disposable vapes (like the ones listed here) should contain very few ingredients. Basically just the cannabinoids extract (or distillate) and some terpenes for flavor. The terpenes act as a natural thinner to the cannabinoid oil, meaning no nasty (and harmful) fillers are needed.
When compared to smoking pure flower, although it is still preferred by many, there’s no getting around the fact that burning any sort of plant material creates carcinogens. With vaping, there’s no combustion involved, meaning no carcinogens are produced.
When compared to oils, tinctures, capsules, and gummies, vaping cannabinoids produce much faster effects as they’re able to enter your bloodstream quickly through millions of capillaries in your lungs. You can feel the effects from vaping within a minute or so, whereas gummies might take up to 40 minutes to kick in.
Disadvantages of vaping
Recently, vaping has caught a bad rap and that’s mainly due to the additives used )by some brands) which can have harmful effects on your lungs. But even if you’re careful about the quality you invest in, their are still a couple of other disadvantages you should be aware of:
Compared to disposable vape cartridges, disposable vapes are a lot more convenient, but they do also cost more. And, even if you’re buying in bulk, the cost of disposable vapes does seem to be increasing.
Every time you use and throw away a disposable device, that’s one more piece of plastic and one more built-in battery going into landfill. Disposable carts offer a more environmentally friendly solution, (refillable carts even more so)!
Vaping has just as bad, if not a worse, reputation than smoking cigarettes and it’s had a lot of bad press in the last couple of years. This is mainly due to the adverse effects caused by harmful additives and artificial flavors used.
